Supervisor Frank Mecham Endorses Cunningham For Assembly
Templeton, CA— Former Deputy District Attorney and candidate for Assembly, Jordan Cunningham has received the endorsement of former Paso Robles Mayor and San Luis Obispo County Supervisor, Frank Mecham. Supervisor Mecham’s support provides Cunningham with endorsements from a majority of the board – adding to those of Board Chair Debbie Arnold and Supervisor Lynn Compton.
When asked about his support, Mecham said, “Over the years, Jordan has demonstrated a pragmatic style of leadership that will create opportunities for Central Coast residents. I trust that his experience and knowledge of the region will permit him to make educated decisions that move our communities forward.”
A fifth generation resident of San Luis Obispo County, Mecham is a United States Navy veteran and dedicated community leader. He has served on the board of numerous organizations and committees, including: the Twin Cities Community Hospital, Paso Robles High School Technology Academy, and Nacimiento Water Commission. Like Mecham, Cunningham is a Central Coast native with deep roots in the community and a passion for serving it. He is the President of the Central Coast Taxpayers Association, an elected member of the Templeton Unified School Board, and a former Deputy District Attorney for San Luis Obispo County. Whether defending local taxpayers, enhancing educational opportunities for the region’s youth, or increasing public safety, Cunningham is committed to the overall success of the area and its residents.
