Pismo Beach Councilman Ed Waage endorses Cunningham for Assembly
Templeton, CA— Assembly Candidate and former Deputy District Attorney, Jordan Cunningham, has earned the endorsement of Ed Waage, a longtime community leader and Pismo Beach City Councilman.
A former college professor, Waage has used his PhD in chemistry to assist communities on California’s central coast as well as across the nation with pollution and disaster preparedness. Before moving west, Waage ran the Hazardous Materials Emergency Preparedness Program for the state of Illinois. A consistent leader for the region, Waage has served four years on the Pismo Beach Planning Commission and was first elected to the council in 2008.
When asked about his endorsement, Waage said, “Jordan grew up in the community, was educated at local schools, and now works and raises his family here – he personifies the unique qualities of our region and is deeply invested in its overall success. Jordan’s decisions will be based on experience, and I’m confident his leadership will help move our area in the right direction.”
For years, Cunningham worked in the San Luis Obispo County District Attorney’s office, prosecuting criminals charged with fraud, assault, domestic violence, and environmental crimes. Now he uses his experience to protect business owners, families, and individuals with Adamski, Moroski, Madden, Cumberland & Green.
Jordan dedicates time outside of the office to give back to a community that he has always been proud to call home. He volunteers for numerous youth organizations, he is the President of the Central Coast Taxpayers Association, and serves as an elected member of the Templeton Unified School District Board of Trustees.
Jordan lives in Templeton with his wife, Shauna, and their four children.
