NFIB Endorses Jordan Cunningham for State Assembly

SACRAMENTO, Calif., February 19, 2016 – The National Federation of Independent Business, California’s and the nation’s leading small business association, today announced the endorsement of Jordan Cunningham for Assembly District 35.

“NFIB is excited to endorse Jordan Cunningham for State Assembly, the clear candidate for small business in this race,” said Tom Scott, NFIB/CA State Executive Director. “As a small business owner, Jordan understands the challenges our members face every day from spiking health care costs to complex labor laws. We have full confidence he will fight for small business values and bring common sense leadership to Sacramento.”

NFIB represents 22,000 dues-paying small business members in California comprising a cross-section of the state’s economy. The endorsement comes from NFIB’s SAFE (Save America’s Free Enterprise) Trust, the organization’s political action committee, and is based on positions regarding key small-business issues including health care, taxes, labor, and regulatory issues.

Small business owners and their employees vote in high numbers and are known for actively recruiting friends, family members, and acquaintances to go to the polls. NFIB will encourage its members to help turn out the small-business vote for candidates in the June primary, and again in November.
