Jordan Cunningham is the unanimous choice of Lompoc leaders
Templeton, CA— Assembly candidate and small business owner, Jordan Cunningham, may live and work in San Luis Obispo County, but he’s receiving a significant amount of support from elected officials in Santa Barbara County as well.
Recently Lompoc Councilmembers Dirk Starbuck, Jim Mosby and Victor Vega decided to join Mayor Bob Lingl and Councilman DeWayne Holmdahl in supporting Cunningham’s campaign for Assembly – making him the unanimous choice of the Lompoc council.
Bob Lingl, Mayor of Lompoc said about Cunningham, “Although the district includes two counties, the decisions made in one community will impact the surrounding areas. Jordan is a leader not only for the place he calls home, but also for the entire region. Families, taxpayers, and businesses will have an advocate with Jordan in the Assembly.”
Cunningham is a former deputy district attorney, serves as a member of the Templeton Unified School District Board and is the former president of the Central Coast Taxpayers Association.
“I appreciate the support of Lompoc’s leaders,” said Cunningham. “When elected, I plan to work with and empower our local leaders so that we are all working toward a common goal for the benefit of our region and its families.”
In addition to the city’s current elected leaders supporting Cunningham’s campaign, former Lompoc Councilmember Anne Ruhge as well as former Mayor John Linn have also offered their support.
“There is no doubt that Jordan has the necessary experience to provide a voice for our communities,” state Ruhge. “But it’s his passion for the region that will permit him to excel as a leader for a district that includes two counties and a number of distinct communities.”
Jordan Cunningham lives in Templeton with his wife, Shauna, and their four children.
