Jordan Cunningham endorsed by Arroyo Grande Mayor Pro Tem Barbara Harmon
Templeton, CA – Local small business owner and Assembly Candidate Jordan Cunningham has earned the endorsement of Arroyo Grande Mayor Pro Tem Barbara Harmon.
Harmon, a retired 23-year veteran officer with the Santa Barbara County Probation Department, was elected to the Arroyo Grande City Council in 2014. A resident of Arroyo Grande since 1986, she has been an ambassador for her community, protecting its historical charm and promoting safe neighborhoods. She is a strong proponent of the local small business community.
“Jordan has routinely answered the call to serve the community: keeping criminals off the streets, defending hard-working families from higher taxes, and ensuring kids have safe schools to learn and grow,” stated Harmon. “I am confident that he has the experience we need in Sacramento and will work tirelessly on behalf of our community.”
Jordan Cunningham is a Central Coast native, and a product of local schools. He developed a strong belief in the value of law enforcement at an early age, and pursued a career as a prosecutor in the San Luis Obispo District Attorney’s Office. Today, he represents families, individuals, and local businesses as the owner and founder of the Cunningham Law Group.
The former President of the Central Coast Taxpayers Association, Jordan is a vocal advocate of taxpayers and has worked to ensure that local government operates in an accountable and transparent manner. As both a father and an elected Trustee of the Templeton Unified School Board, Jordan is committed to supporting California’s students and providing them with an opportunity to succeed in the modern workforce.
When asked about Harmon’s endorsement, Cunningham stated, “It’s an honor to have Barbara’s support. Her lifelong dedication to the safety of our families and communities is exactly what we need in our leaders, and I’m proud to earn her endorsement.”
Jordan Cunningham is running for the 35th Assembly District, which encompasses San Luis Obispo County and part of Santa Barbara County. He and his wife Shauna live in Templeton with their four children.
