Fonzi endorses Cunningham for Assembly
Templeton, CA— Taxpayer advocate and Assembly candidate Jordan Cunningham has received the endorsement of longtime community leader and Atascadero City Councilmember, Roberta Fonzi.
Fonzi grew up in Atascadero, traveled widely with her husband during his military career and has been a community leader for over 15 years. Her leadership on the council, as well as the Atascadero Planning Commission, has greatly benefitted both her colleagues and Atascadero residents. Her focus on government accountability and local job creation has paid dividends for our region.
Fonzi’s endorsement adds to the solid support Cunningham has garnered in Atascadero. In addition to Fonzi, he has secured the support of Mayor Tom O’Malley as well as Councilmembers Heather Moreno and Brian Sturtevant.
When asked about her support, Fonzi said, “Jordan is the right person to represent our region in the Assembly because his priorities – jobs, public safety, and education — align with those in our community. He will advocate for local control and decision-making.”
A Central Coast native, Jordan currently serves as the President of the Central Coast Taxpayers Association, a nonprofit organization committed to educating taxpayers and advocating for smart fiscal policy.
In addition to fiscal prudence, Jordan will offer experience and leadership in regards to public safety. Before taking a position with Adamski, Moroski, Madden, Cumberland & Green, Cunningham worked as a local Deputy District Attorney. In this capacity, he prosecuted fraud, domestic violence, assault, and environmental crimes.
When Jordan is not working or spending time with his family, he is volunteering with youth sports and serving as an elected member of the Templeton Unified School Board.
Jordan Cunningham lives in Templeton with his wife, Shauna, and their four children.
