California Professional Firefighters endorse Cunningham for Assembly
Templeton, CA— The California Professional Firefighters (CPF), the largest organization of its kind in the state of California, has endorsed former deputy district attorney and candidate for Assembly, Jordan Cunningham.
Representing 30,000 members, CPF is dedicated exclusively to serving the needs of career firefighters, and is one of the nation’s strongest and most influential public employee organizations.
“Our firefighters are the first line of defense in protecting the safety and health of our communities,” said CPF President Lou Paulson. “Jordan understands and appreciates the work our firefighters do and is committed to public safety. We believe Jordan Cunningham is the right person to help make sure our first responders on the Central Coast have the resources they need to do their jobs.”
As a former deputy district attorney, Cunningham spent a number of years advocating for crime victims in the area. He prosecuted a wide variety of crimes, including fraud, assault, domestic violence, and environmental abuse.
In addition to CPF, Cunningham has been endorsed by a number of other public safety organizations, including the California Correctional Peace Officers Association, California Association of Highway Patrolmen, Crime Victims United, California State Sheriffs’ Association, and the Peace Officers Research Association of California.
“I’m humbled by the level of support that I’ve received from organizations and individuals dedicated to our safety,” said Cunningham. “I’m a father of four and Central Coast native, who will always prioritize the wellbeing of those in our community.”
Jordan Cunningham lives in Templeton with his wife, Shauna, and their four children.
