Atascadero Mayor Endorses Cunningham For Assembly
Templeton, CA— Former San Luis Obispo County Deputy District Attorney and Candidate for Assembly, Jordan Cunningham, has received the endorsement of Atascadero Mayor Tom O’Malley.
A longtime community leader and family business owner, O’Malley has used his extensive career in public service to focus on community cohesiveness through economic growth and environmental stewardship. His dedication to regional success has helped to align the efforts of opposing interest groups on longstanding issues, and his leadership has helped to revitalize downtown Atascadero.
“Jordan is from our region and understands the unique qualities of each of our communities. I have known Jordan most of his life and believe he is the right person to fight for local decision making.” said O’Malley. “His experience in the courtroom, passion to see our communities succeed, and dedication to protecting taxpayers while encouraging policies for economic growth will deliver the message we need to send to Sacramento.”
As the President of the Central Coast Taxpayers Association, Cunningham dedicates much of his time to protecting taxpayers and hard-working families on the Central Coast. His proven ability to provide commonsense solutions on budgetary and tax-related issues will permit him to make an immediate impact in Sacramento while benefitting the residents in which he represents.
Cunningham’s dedication to each resident of the Central Coast extends beyond fiscal accountability and into both education and public safety.
As a former Deputy District Attorney, Cunningham prosecuted a wide variety of crimes including fraud, domestic violence and assault. Recently elected as a Trustee to the Templeton Unified School Board, he also works to maintain a safe classroom environment while ensuring funding for education remains inside the classroom and benefits students.
Jordan Cunningham currently works for Adamski, Moroski, Madden, Cumberland & Green. He lives in Templeton with his wife, Shauna, and their four children.
